A Theravada Buddhist monk from Canada, resident at Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden.
All Season Peace Walks is a Canadian peace initiative inspired by the Buddhist tradition of walking pilgrimage. Through every season and every kind of weather, we walk together to cultivate peace within ourselves, build understanding between communities, and carry the teachings of the Buddha into the world.
Beginning here in Ontario, the walks will connect temples, communities and people of different faiths and backgrounds. Each journey is an invitation to slow down, meet one another, and take a few steps together toward a more peaceful world. Like Canada itself, the movement embraces every season.
So much of my practice has been sound meditation and the Dharma: cultivating peace within, and helping others find stillness in themselves. These walks are an extension of that same intention, except now peace is carried forward physically, one step at a time.
